That's awesome Gary thank you for putting all of this together and making your vision a reality. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help! I'm still bummed that I didn't get to meet with you guys at D.O.G. II

Gary, why not start a separate thread with a poll so people can vote on those options for locations...
Andrea, we are sad you and Monica couldn't make it but you guys should be so proud of how good everyone behaved Sunday! We seriously turned a lot of heads, and I'm glad it was in a positive way. The dobes were all on their best behaviours I think lol. We'll see you guys next time for sure, I'm excited to meet Apollo also as I haven't yet.

WOW High Park / Bloor West Village landslide voting so far. Even if you haven't come out for D.O.G yet please cast a vote. Would like to hear from potential newbees that might come out in the future too.

Your concept is worth it! I will second your motion of Monica as President, Joanne as Social Convenor and you as Founder! No problems with High Park for the next meet. Woofstock would be cool, especially if we can get the group like we did on Sunday

Thank you for your support Carolyne. It's great to see you enjoyed the day and want to attend more. It's really a good area and probably D.O.G 3rd meet will be there, so far 4 votes say yes. D.O.G 4th meet in November I need to really push for a good showing. That would be awesome having at least 10-12 dobermans together for the event. That time of year the weather is changing so it will be a good venue as it's indoors.

We will take over Winter Woofstock! It's a totally different scene than the summer one, but still alot of fun. We need bandanas or something for our pack for that event for sure.

Apologies to all DOG IIers for the delay in posting pix. I had opened a Photobucket account, gone through all 300+ pix and culled the really terrible ones, and was all ready to do the upload when I discovered that a problem (too involved to describe here) with my desktop had knocked out my e-mail and Web browsing programs -- and who knows what else? Of course, the pix are all on my desktop.
Now I need Bill, my resident computer tech, to show me how to restore my system, but he has been frantically busy. And we'll be away overnight tomorrow, so it may be another couple of days before all this gets done. But it will get done.
Am writing this on my iPad, which I love but which is a real pain when it comes to serious word processing. Ain't computers great!

Computers are amazing things until they screw up!! Then we realize how much we depend on them and how frustrating it can be to get them back working like normal.
Good luck, hope your resolution isn't too painfull or time consuming.
