Thanks Ian for your comments. I'm still a protective dad esp when it comes to male/male and multiple male dobermans free running. In my case it's not happening and not worth the risk. Zeus II my previous doberman was involed in a dog fight while being boarded and they should have known better also being dog trainers. From that day forward he was over the top dog agressive. I never want that again and will do what I can to avoid it. Great to see all was well with Reyna, Isys and Diesel when they met! How about those collars Eric makes! Pretty impressive work eh! Joanne all was well when I looked at the pictures of the meet, but when Zeus saw pictures #10, 27, 79 that was it! His heart is broken Then he saw Isys was there....Eric was here a while back and Zeus likes Isys too ! So he see's his 2 ladies playing with Diesel and now he's laying around moping with a broken heart! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL HAHAHAHA! Poor Zeus If you ever get to meet Diesel you can claim back your right over Reyna and Isys! ;D Diesel did have a lot of moments with his sis....so touching....then you see half of the pics is of Reyna snapping at Diesel...his face on pic #70 was priceless! Reyna was giving Zeus a good share of snaps too when they met but he is quite the romantic and he still seemed pretty smitten with her

I will email this date out to the others that have M-litter babies. Just to point out to anyone reading, the M-birthday is July 17th, the actual Doberman meet-up is July 31st.

Don't worry Zeus!! Reyna loves her bro and Zeus both in different ways! LOL. She is a sassy littl gal, who aparently loves to show the boys 'who is really boss'... no wallflower here! LOL. Diesel and her were like 2 little peas in a pod, but Reyna was like 'DUDE I'm your SISTER... no sniffing!!'... her heart still belongs to Zeus... her handsome love...

Zeus is so lucky that Reyna has a special place in her heart for him. All that heart break from Cajun is sooo yesterday.

Now he's all gaga eyed here! he wants a bath with his Miracle Coat shampoo and a spray and brush with Miracle Mist. His nails dremeled and even brush his teeth with his doggy toothpaste ( he despises his teeth brushed) so he's a Dobereich Doberdude if we head to Woofstock on Sunday to see his favorite little lady on stage Isys is just a fainting memory after he read this post from Renya

Oh Oh the gauntlet is being laid! Zeus has the upper hand anyway as he's older and not a brother. Brotherly love just isn't the same I think Reyna secretly has a soft spot for reds ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Zeus has the deep euro red like his dad Bosley. Bogey also has the deep red. I may end up in Toronto Saturday and Sunday helping my daughter move and track day will wait. So I might be able to get to Wolfstock Saturday and maybe make Lindsay's meet too. Still playing it by ear and see how it looks come Friday related to the move.

Hello all, so many tales (tails) to tell. I have taken Lilly to the Miller Offleash dog park at Miller and Rodick road in Markham. It's a park in progress and there were some other Dobermann owners that would meet there on certain days of the week. Usually ensuring other people would drive by and not let their squeakers out.
I have gone to other locations in Toronto and one day as I let Lilly out of the back of the car she was immediately attacked by a Great Dane, a Boxer and a mutt. Thankfully she runs faster than a greyhound ... It's times like this when owners are not ... trained ... that I wish i could tazer them. I did Get Lilly back in the car shaken and stirred and settled her down enough to be sure I wasn't injured. That was at a school where some of these other off leash people go - never will I go again.
The Miller Off leash park has been very good. Usually the dogs sort it out but I keep a vigilante eye on other peoples dogs. Lilly has a very good temperament and isn't a fighter.
We all seem to watch out for each others dogs here. I admit I haven't taken her there for a year, but I loved training her in the jumps and ramps there. She loved it as well.
The one thing I made sure I did when we bought Lilly from Monica was to take her to training classes. She was 15 months old when we got her and I wanted to be sure the Dobermann nay nayers out there could never say my dog did anything wrong.
We used to show her, but that was getting taxing on time requirements. I still keep her in show condition.
It would be nice to be able to find a Dobermann group in the Toronto/DonMills area that I could go to. The park we usually go to was ... ok I was shocked to see it .. but people were walking their cats on leashes! I had Lilly off leash ... and thanks to training I said no, leave it and she ignored them.
I suppose that was more of a rant than anything helpful.

yes, turn east on sherwood and there is parking there... it's a great off-leash trail that is fenced. reyna LOVES it there and there are always lots of dogs to play with. you have to walk to the back over the bridge to reach the off-leash. the big green space is sadly, not an off-leash area. there are 'dog police' there often ticketing... so just be careful they also camp out by the bridge sometimes where you can't see them. by the time you get to them, it's too late as Lilly will likely have reached them first LOL. you will see lots of dogs off-leash before the trail, but that is up to you obviously - just wanted you to know because i didn't! thankfully i didn't get caught!
