Thinking ahead when does everyone think would be a good date for our 3rd meetup? I know weekends between Oct 8th-23rd are out for me as my wife and I are away on a cruise.
I'm picking a weekend to get back to the racetrack with my car. Looks to be Sept 24th, 25th based on weather.
With 5 votes so far for High Park / Bloor West Village and no other thoughts that looks to be the place at this point for the next meetup.
Post up thoughts for date you like?

Just a thought......it would be amazing if both Monica and Andrea could make this one, so we suggest that they make the date for the next meet-up, as they have the most "on the go".....

Well quick look at my schedule the only weekends as I see it now Sept / Oct that could work for me are - Saturday, Sept. 17th, Sunday, Sept. 18th Saturday, Oct 29th, Sunday Oct 30th Maybe Saturday, Sept. 10th, Sunday, Sept. 11th could work Work, possible racing weekend, and a cruise vacation take up the rest of the weekends in Sept and Oct for me. Andrenia's Oct 1st could work but that sounds already out for Monica and Andrea as per her post of pups going home Oct 8th and a couple weekends before too busy.
I thought for November Winter Woofstock was a good option for a D.O.G meet. Woofstock is Saturday, Nov 19th, Sunday, Nov 20th. So I am thinking the Woofstock date is a go as that date is set by the Woofstock event.
The question is do we fit an event in between now and Winter Woofstock? I'm thinking yes, but you can see my calendar doesn't have too many options and neither does Monica's and Andrea's.

Well, the end of October means that the weather is cooler too, so maybe a nicer walk for our dobermans

Hey guys, OK, so looking at Gary's schedule, and mine, and then we will have to take as many others into account. For September I'm free the 3rd and 4th. October I'm might free on the 16th (Sun), the 22nd, 23rd, and the 30th. Andrea hit the wrong thing in the poll, she didn't mean to select high park knowing that "another place" was an option. She will go where I go of course, since I'm driving. But I think I would like to look around a bit for a place that is a bit more central for all these London and west end goers. Barb and Kerrie have nearly a 3 hour drive to make it to High Park and I think we can do better. I also like to enjoy walking the dogs on country trails more then I do the city. I know the dogs enjoy the country better hands-down! But what's more important is getting a dog friendly area for those who want to let the dogs off leash.

Crossing Monica's schedule with mine and taking into account everyone needs some time to plan. October date could be Oct 30th Comments? Location??? Then after that will be Woofstock in Toronto Nov 19 or 20th.

But Monica can only do Oct 30th. So lets do the Oct 30th weekend??
As for locations, no idea what parks/trails are around those areas, someone from that end may have to suggest?

We would also like to do the end of October ...... we are very open to driving wherever you plan the event......I just know that we will not be making the long drive from the Bend during the month of September. As our season is over by Thanksgiving weekend, we want to enjoy every weekend there from now until the end of the season.
That being said, we expect to be back to living in London by mid-October, so we will not have more than a 2 hour drive at that point.

Well it sounds like the end of Oct is winning so at this point that makes sense to say Oct 30th.
Now we need to decide on location?
We know High Park / Bloor West is popular and some strong support for there.
What about another area more west of the GTA? Who is out that way that's reading and will attend and wanting to have The D.O.G come somewhere else? Post away if you have an idea for a new Location to consider? OR If you will not drive outside of the GTA for a D.O.G event post up too so we know.
I'm open in GTA or outside GTA. I drive all over Ontario every week so for me it's fine either way, Zeus is a very seasoned traveller too and he's been to Windsor, Bruce Peninsula, Huntsville/Muskokas, Lindsay/Kawartha's and all points inbetween on day trips so for him it's just another day ride in the truck and he loves rides.
