Let's here what your doberdudes or doberladies are getting for Xmas? I'm think a couple new Wubba Kongs from me. My wife just bought him a couple crate blankets, really nice and smoking deal too. He shreds the Costco pillows if he's left over about 3 hours in the crate. We have to switch him to blankets for longer stays or get a bank loan to keep him in Costco pillows ;D Yes Monica if you are reading this I'm following your rules He has got at least 1 hour, but mostly 2 1-hour sessions a day in his crate when we are home, the days since the show as you requested. Yes the door is closed He's adjusting ok. Saturday night we were off to a party and he spent 4 + hours in the crate. We got home and what a sight! He's standing in the crate and about a foot of stuffing all around and inside the crate. That was the end of that Costco pillow We were so shocked never thought to take a picture as it would have been a beauty ;D He's been the crate in every day since and so far no real issues and the replacement pillow has not be slaughtered yet

Hi Gary, Funny, I just cleaned-up a room full of Costco pillow fluff too! Indi was laying in her perla bed surrounded by fluff. Guess she wanted it more puffy, but defeated her purpose since the bed is about 1/2 gone and all over the floor! I need to find the perfect dog bedding. The original vet bedding is good, most my dogs have that. But there are a few dogs over here that like to chew the beds and blankets, so I can't give them anything. The vet bedding is over $50 each, so I'd rather give them a costco bed....lol. When I find the perfect "safe" bedding, that's what the dogs will get for Christmas. If anyone has found the non-chewable, soft bedding..... I'm all ears! PS.... Gary, Zeus is supposed to be spending 2 hours at a time in his crate, not 2 separate one hour sessions.

Crawl before you walk Monica... I planned to bump it up last Saturday as he was pretty good leading up, with the 2 - 1 hour sessions one moring, one afternoon. Saturday was much longer and we had the "Pillow Slaying". I'll increase it more as you suggest.
I took the last couple dead pillows and worked them all together into one good one. Chris bought some nice blankets like $4 at Wallmart that we will put in for any extended stays.
