I am really pleased with the coats from Hurtta. They are designed for active dogs. Gino and Asha were playing jumping and chasing each other after I put coats on. They seems to be very comfortable. Gino in his winter coat size 24" I was lucky Asha was settled for a few minutes Size 24" fits her With rolled up fur... looks not bad. Asha is back to zoomies not showing any discomfort. Rain coats are light and don't restrict dogs movement Asha in her new rain coat. Visibility vest are very handy for our walks in the darkness Asha is a big girl. I can not believe she is only 8 months.

They look great (the coats and the dogs). With days now growing shorter, we sometimes end up walking Jack after dark. A black dog on a dark night seems to become invisible to some of the idiot drivers in our neighbourhood, so for safety, he wears a light-up SAR collar that we bought some years ago for our previous Dobe. But I like the visibility vests a lot.

Coats look great Lisa!! Looks like you bought everything they have avaialble in 2's ;D Can you take a picture of how the straps fasten on the top of the back? is it a plastic snap in buckle? Hard to see in the pictures. The Hurta looks very similar in design and cut to the Chilly Dog the difference it looks to me is the Chilly Dog at the back is sewn to taper down more around the hips and tail at the back. I like the solid one colour of the Hurta and it looks like a good amount of reflective material too. That's good for walking when it's dark and that happens in the winter with much less sunlight.

I second that!
The coats look awesome and I really love the red. I love red on Diesel so I may get that one.

Lisa, the coats and the dogs look great. Gary told me that you had posted pictures, so I just had to see what Asha was wearing now! lol! She is definately a lucky girl, and so is Gino a lucky boy....having her around to play with.
No kidding about how big our girls are.....Kazi got to stop into my work today to meet the girls again there, and they couldn't believe how big she is. Puppy....hahahaha. They laughed at me. Dante is only about an inch taller than Kazi now, when you stand them side by side. Or there abouts.

Thanks everyone for your compliments Now I am waiting for the rain...lol... but we got a perfect unseasonal weather +28C! Dyanne the visibility vests are really bright and reflective. We live next to the huge off-leash area. There is a biking path running through. I am always worried a biker would not notice my dogs in the darkness. That's the main reason we bought the vests. They work! LOL Gary... yes I have to double everything I buy Jealousy is a hard thing to deal with... The snap in buckle is plastic. It's easy to replace if it's broken. The straps are 1" wide like most dog collars. They are also reflective what is cool in the darkness. The straps are adjustable: The collar is adjustble too and may be rolled up There are straps for the hind legs what keeps a coat from flying The winter coat is unerlined with fleece and isolation material and feels very warm and soft. The rain coat is very light and good for warmer and wet seasons.

The vest you have chosen looks very pretty especially on Dobermans.
Asha and Gino like wrestling too much. Velcro may not work for us. I decided on the harness like twilight vests with a buckle. Katja was very nice to place a special order.
