Thanks to Andreina...I've been hooked on Etsy!!! I still can't decide which dog tag to get but I did find an awesome custom collar shop called Pleasant Pup (US based). Her name is Tricia Vaughn and what I like about her work is that she has a lot of variety with respect to leather colours (purple, teal, orange, etc...) and what do you know...she has 2 dobes of her own. ;D As you all know, I'm biased when it comes to red since Diesel was the red collar male from his litter. I've been looking everywhere for a rich red leather collar and finally found it in her shop...it's called Oxblood and I absolutely love it! And since I love bling, there's gonna be a few Swarovski crystals on it LMAO. Anyways, I ordered it so can't wait to get it. If you would like to see her work you can visit her @ www.etsy.com/people/Dobergrrl She is offering a free shipping promotion till November 1 so if anyone is interested give her a shout. Promo code is : JUMPSTART11

Svetlana I highly recommend dogs-art.net/. Andrea does leather collars with ribbon on it. You may order any ribbon on etsy and send to her. The price is very reasonable $23 -25 and quality is outstanding. My dogs swim and fight in dirt wearing her collar. I wash them gently. They are very soft too. We use no-chain martingale collars. They are very easy to put on and take off.

Hey Lana...I checked out the site and really like her collars too. One of her dogs names is Dante, so I took it as a sign....hahahahaha...but he is a red dobe. Too funny! So, I am in the process of measuring his neck, and waiting for a price on a matching leather leash too.
Thanks for showing the site off. I also like the dogs-net site also, but they do offer different types of collars...and variety is the spice of life!

I bought many leather collars for Asha and Gino... Andrea's collars are the most comfortable. Most leather collars are made of latigo leather what is not soft enough. A dog may lose hair if collar edges are not done properly. It fades after swimming and needs lots of care. I would not use this kind of collars for every day walks. Maybe for special events only English bridle leather is much better but it's expensive. Just my 2 cents....

As for swimming, I don't plan for him to have it on when swimming, He has a separate collar for that. For walks, I use the prong on him so I probably won't be using the leather collar as much. But thanks though...I'll def keep that in mind when I buy other collars for him! FYI this collar is def a "showing off" collar ;D

hahaha Lisa...you crack me up. Thanks for the info on the leather collar, but it would really only be a show-off collar. I haven't bought him a special "leather collar"--just the usual flat, or choke collar. So this will be unique, and then with the new dog id tags, well.....he's ready to step out on the town.
I will check out Eric's site...thanks for that info.

I'm hoping that maybe Eric can bring some collars with him...I would love to buy one for Kazi and one for Dante...Something very studly for the boy and not sure about Kazi...Like the pride collar maybe for Kazi...I just looked at your designs and they are stunning Eric...I know where our collars will be coming from in the future... Maybe you can also make them a custom one after you have met the two of them...Dante is jelous that his brother Zeus had a special one made for him..

I would love to design something for Dante and Kazi. Not sure if I can attend the D.O.G. but I will try. What are their neck sizes? As Lisa has indicated, all my collars for Dobereich Dobermans are 1/2 price as I want then to look their best .

Kerrie, what about this collar for Dante? It is a variation of the Gladiator, but a bit smaller and will fit a Doberman better. This collar is very Regal and fitting for Dante. Just let me know and Dante's and Kazi' neck size. Attachments:
