LOL... I just realized I wrote 'SQUEAKS' for Reyna's name LOL! It's her nickname at home, for those of you that don't know... actually we call her Squeaks just as much as we call her Reyna. It started when we brought her home... I don't know when it started, but we call all little puppies under 8 weeks old 'little squeakers'... you know, because of the cute noise they make! LOL.
Reyna, of course, became OUR little Squeaker... or 'The Squeaks', 'The Little Squeaker', 'Squeaky Puppy', 'Squeaks', etc... you get the picture. The name 'Squeaks' just stuck. One of her hoodies even has 'Squeaks' monogrammed on it... a cute surprise from Mark one day!!
LOL she's lucky I named her Reyna first, otherwise she might have been Dobereich's Madame Squeaks! ;D

That video is priceless. Reminds me, happily and sadly, of a hike some years ago with various relatives and their dogs: our Dobe, Fred; Gil and Panu, GSDs; and Max, a Lab. We were crossing a field in which the hay was ready to be cut when the dogs spotted a horse waaay over in the next field. None of them had seen a horse before, and of course, all four took off barking like crazy. The hay was too tall to see them, but we could certainly hear them.
They were very macho and very brave, until they paused and poked their heads up over the grass and suddenly realized -- oh, s***, that thing is really, really BIG. There was a long pause, and we could almost hear their conversation: "You go, Fred." "No, you go, Gil." "Panu, I think you should go." "Okay, we'll all go. Let's hope there's safety in numbers."
And so they went, barking again until all four stopped in unison and poked their heads up to take another look. Perhaps hoping that the horse had shrunk since the last time. But no such luck.
They continued across the field this way -- poking their heads up every so often -- while we humans were laughing so hard that we could barely stand up.
I said "sadly" because none of these four lovely dogs is with us any longer. But remembering that afternoon and many others still makes me smile.

Be careful. We did that with our Newf, and his puppy nickname, Stumper or Stumpie ("You little stumper") became his name. Stumpie grew up with my kids, and I doubt that, if asked, they would even remember that, at one time, he had a perfectly presentable name. LOL.
