o-m-g I handled Dante and he didn't eat me!!! HAHAA... Weird handling other dogs, but its good. Yeah all the dogs like you said were like ummmm "mom? where r u?" I could feel Dante doing a little dance and looking around for Kerrie. And when Julian was handling Rogun, Scarlet was like "What are u doing dad!!" Kazi is my sweet girl though she was really good yesterday it shows the work you two have done with her over the past couple weeks. It is way less stress training now, I really enjoy it now that I am not fighting Scar to get into a down, or sit... and she walks nice. Training level 1 puppies this week ---- was a workout LOL. I forgot how hard it was almost

Used my little "training tab" this morning for half our walk and Scar did awesome "off-leash" heeling and turning... Very exciting that she stayed in line with me on our walk like that, I was really blown away. Just wanted to share how excited I am with our progress in Monicas class...

Now I am thinking to send Asha to you Andreina She is not heeling without a pinch collar on our walks and she is perfect in the OB class. How is that?

That's fantastic news about your walk. We are so proud of you both with Scarlet, and know how much you both have worked with her, and it shows.
As I've said before Lisa, I'd love it if you would send Asha to Ontario......but like me, you'd miss your little girl too much

Oh, and if yet another @#$@!$%$#@ squirrel comes running along our fence, jumps up onto the neighbours garage roof, proceeds to run up the roof then across it, only to turn and come back down, jump onto a branch, run down the trunk of the tree and scatter across the patio all while Kazi is in the sunroom----staring out of 20 ft of window......I am going to SCREAM!

LOL Sunday was a weird day.... We were all off our game.... well except for Kerrie and Mr.Man ..... We trained outside, Scarlet loves to sniff grass, and on her down stays, she thought she would just bask in the sun and get a tan! hahaha.... laying there like a froggy. Oh and her recall...was...amazing?... "Scarlet come....!!" :-/As she sits there perfectly 25 feet away just staring at me like "come? no..." Little B...lol What week are we on? When is our exam?

I learned to train my dogs in different environments. If they do well in the OB class they may be totally off outside. I take Asha to off-leash area where no bikes and train her there - stays, comes, heel, etc. Then she is great in the class.
My guess your dogs have not been trained in Monica`s yard yet. If so... they will get much better when they get used to the new environment.

You are right Lisa....but thru the winter we have remained indoors, so now we are taking advantage of the spring weather, and my little Kazi is taking advantage of me!!!!!...lol...

Little Kazi? LOL... and her little sister Asha When I took Asha to the outdoor class last summer she was the worst dog in the class. She barked at dogs and people having BBQ next door and she did not see me at all! Now her focus is much better... but it's far from perfect!

Far from perfect....hahaha...that's an understatement! She does make me laugh, and Kerrie, and Monica, and Andreina, and Julian.........etc, etc, etc...... She is a very happy-go-lucky dog, that's for sure.

Great day at training yesterday. We took the dogs into downtown Fergus and did our training near a campground, so we had lots of distractions--dog, people, kids, playground....it was really good to go out into the real world, with real world distractions. We are only 2 sessions away from our test....good luck to everyone in both level 1 and level 2!

So, tests are this weekend for levels 1 and 2. It's funny as I think back to when Kazi and I started out level 1, and I can see how far we both have come. And I can see how much she has played me ..... She has been doing well, and she knows exactly what to do....question is in her mind....what can I get away with...lol. ;D ;D Last night I was practicing with her in our backyard ( OMG it is so nice to have a huge yard!!!! ), and I put her on a sit-stay...oops, I didn't realize that I made her sit on a "prickly" bush...lol...she moved and I was like "hey"...and then oops....sorry baby girl...lol And then Mr. Man casually comes over to her and proceeds to lick her ears.....talk about a distraction...

Kamikazi is awesome Lol Barb, thinking back to last fall when we couldn't even get our girls to sit down beside us in heel. Oh gosh..... Its been an experience thats for sure.
