Just to confirm that some of us Dobermann (and Dobereich) owners are going to rally a get together at mono cliffs provincial park this Sunday march 4th at 1:00 PM. Below is the map of the park, I scoped out free parking if you enter at the 2nd line by the Education centre. Eden and I walked part of the trail today (well officially yesterday now).

Directions are simple and this is easy to get to, all roads are paved. The park is located off of Mono rd 8 between Hwy 10 and airport rd. Go North on the 2nd line and follow it till it ends at the park gates. Follow the signs for the Mono Cliffs Education centre, parking is off the road in front of the gates.
its supposed to be a typical late winter day, no snow in the forecast and mix of sun and cloud with temps just below freezing. Bring your dog coats, and bundle up so that the cold doesn't ruin our fun. If you are an up to a good walk the lake trail runs a 3.6 KM loop. If I'm not dead after the show I plan to take this trail myself, but there are other trails for the those who would prefer a shorter hike.
Some of you are planning on meeting me at the show before the walk. Here is the link to the show site;

Dobes should be showing around 11:50 am, and should be done by 12:30 PM. I will pack-up and leave right away afterwards and head straight to the park.
You are invited to join us for some eats after the walk. With the dogs good and tired they shouldn't mind a short stay in the vehicle while we rest our feet and relax awhile. Perhaps everyone can give their input on where we should go for lunch/dinner afterwards. I've added a poll, and after everyone answers I will book a reservation to ensure everyone gets a seat.
Nifty Nook is a small country restaurant off hwy 10 just north of Orangeville. Angel's diner is a 50's style diner, noted for good ribs and larger portions at affordable prices. They're located right in Orangeville. The other restaurants you are likely familiar with, both are in town as well.
There's a fenced in area by the old Orangeville Kennel club in town, I`ll pass by tomorrow to see if the gate will open. Its a great fenced in area for those of you who might want to run the dogs off leash after dinner.
Happy we didn't choose tomorrow for our walk, its going to be a really crappy day with regards to weather. Please write in and confirm with me that you will be coming so that we don't miss anyone. We'll wait at the gates until everyone arrives.
Hope to see you there!
Monica
