LOL... Like mother, like daughter. At least now I don't have high expectations she would stop it any time soon Skunk? Oh no... we have one in our neighborhood. So far Asha were lucky but Gino was sprayed twice.

Skunk? Oh no... we have one in our neighborhood. So far Asha were lucky but Gino was sprayed twice. Yes not fun. Isi and Sophie got sprayed once, my fault for letting them run loose a few years back in the middle of winter no less. It was warmer than it had been, I smelled the skunk before I heard them barking, but it was too late, they went running across the path in hot pursuit of the skunk. They were in deep snow bounding and it ran across the surface, only reason I think they came when I called. They knew they couldn"t catch it. Isi was proud as punch, she'd never nearly caught anything before...what a time to start! Kit on the other had used to catch skunks at my parents all the time (4x). Didn't ever turn out so well for the skunk...didn't seem to bother Kit smelling like that either. I'd like to think she taught Isi to be stupid, but likely not! It turned out to be a day off because of an ice storm, but they (Isi and Sophie) still spent some cold hours in the garage! As did I! I found that because of her natural ears Isi smelled of skunk under her ears for weeks after. Did you find that with Gino? Martin

I use peroxide, soda and dish wash. It works like magic. I never feel comfortable to apply the solution on his face but that's the only way to get rid of the smell. He did not smell after the bath. Maybe spray got into Isi's ears?

Few images of momma Juno after our recent snowstorm. She loved the deep snow, I've never seen her so excited to leap around, normally she walks with me or slightly behind, but during these pics she couldn't contain herself and broke a trail through the snow, leaping ahead then leaping back, it was fun to watch. Lisa probably gets bored of it but we don't get 33cm of snow everyday! Can't wait to get started, and that 3 foot drift wasn't going to contain her! Now which way? It's tough to be the lead dog! A little pre walk snow tasting. There you go Monica. A couple of pictures anyway. I took a million, because with the hoarfrost on everything there was a reason to take the camera on our morning walk. I never think to take it otherwise. Martin

That is definately a lot of snow....and Juno looks like she is having a blast in the snow. Right now, after the snow and thaw, the snow is now like "shards" of ice, and is hard on the dogs paws. I'm hoping for more snow again.....
Love the pictures of Juno.....

Like mother like daughters Asha LOVES snow. She jumps like deer and then dig to find who knows what. Juno is beautiful. That's nice to see her happy and healthy.
