Hoping for great health and prosperity for all. And yup, as you can see, we finally got a picture of Jack smiling. Taken with a cell phone, so resolution is pretty low. This was the best of at least 20 shots — because when he smiles, he also does full-body wiggles, so he's never still. Really hard to photograph. Maybe we'll get a better one in 2013! Attachments:

That smile is likely why he gets away with some of those stunts.... lol, I'm a sucker for the smilers, almost wish I could breed them all to do it. Rhody smiles, but not just for anyone, usually just me and the girls. Isis has smiley lips, turns them upwards like a person... its unreal. She will show a toothy smile on the rarest of occasions. Her mom Indi has her own version of a smile, the facial expression is there, just not the teeth. But Indi's brother was a smiling fool, always brightening the room with a 42 grin. So that's 3 generations, and I know a lot of Rhody's offspring smile. Anyone else's dog smile, if so, who are their parents?

Part of the BH is called a traffic test, which tests the dog's response in various situations (e.g., someone riding by on a bicycle). One of the elements involves the handler putting the dog in a down, then stepping back to the very end of the lead while a group of eight to 10 people crowds right in around the dog, clapping their hands, chatting, etc.
When Jack's turn came, I was well back and couldn't see him, but I heard people in the group start exclaiming and laughing. Apparently, Jack was smiling like crazy at everyone. They were charmed.

Love it! Way to go Jack....I have no doubt that Kazi and Asha couldn't complete this task....anyone on a bicycle would be jumped on by Asha, and everyone else by Kazi.
