You may buy meat on sales and stock your freezer. There are always cheap chicken in CO-OP and beef and fish in Superstore and pork/duck in China town.

Yes we do have a few Asian markers in London....4 have opened in the last couple of years. That's where we have purchased the ducks necks, chicken feet....the "odd" meat not normally found in common supermarkets. We definitely have to purchase a second freezer for the dogs....we don't have enough room in our stand-up freezer for 4-6 lbs of meat a day for them, and us. lol

Hello, I have been reading this thread and have also been researching raw. I have found a distributor in my area and I am wondering if these are good prices for Ontario. www.raw4dogs.ca and I am also wondering what the best combination would be for meals. I am thinking of just replacing the evening meal with raw and keeping kibble for the morning and then going full time raw in a year or so. Thanks in advance

Tiffany
There are a few of us who are raw feeding our dogs. Some of us are choosing to feed our dogs raw meat, and others are choosing the pre-made raw. Whichever you choose, you want to make sure you do a lot of research to ensure that you do it correctly. There are great sites to go to and read that will help you to make your decision. There are also groups that resemble a chat group so you can post questions and other members will answer them.

After watching the video Monica posted I have a few thoughts. Company producing kibble were maximizing profit and minimizing value for many years. They are losing profit when people like me are buying from local farms. Definitely they spend more money on advertisement. Where does the money come from? That's no-brainer...
