Thoroughly enjoyed looking at the photos last night. Thanks Lana and Carolyne.
Hope someone will post some of the huge group shots. (I'm one of those who doesn't "do" Facebook, so if they've been posted there, I won't have seen them).
Sunday was a lovely afternoon. Enjoyed seeing old friends and meeting new ones. And eating, eating eating till I thought I'd burst! Thanks, Monica. (Jack thanks you, too. He thoroughly enjoyed the leftovers of my huge steak.)

Wow! What a great time on Sunday... Glad to meet so many new people. You can definitely tell the love each and every one of us has for their dogs. Monica you are an awesome breeder, the dedication you have for these dogs is RIDICULOUS! You are superwoman and I don't know how you keep track of everyone (people and dogs hehe) I hope Sunday was special for you, and that you know how much we all appreciate your hard work We love you mommy Monica! lol

Its been a few days since the reunion and I think I’m finally recovered...lol. I wanted to thank everyone who attended and shared in this celebration with me. The food was amazing, you were amazing, and the dogs were all amazing! The weather held off right to the very end and it just couldn’t have been a better day. Dobermanns are really just magnificent, and they need good breeders and good owners to help them meet their potential. I’ve been at this a long time, and seeing how deeply these dogs have impacted your lives, well, it just makes me realize why I do this. Here are some pics that Andrea took. There's a few more on my website; dobereich.com/dobereichreunion.html Syris with sons Bogey (C-litter Argus) x Rock (Z-litter Boomer) Like mother like son.... its not dominance... its a Dobermann lean! Bogey with son Diesel (M-litter Cleo) Boomer progeny - Lexi (A-litter Cara), Rock (Z-litter Syris), Ronin (U-litter Phoenix) Argus's progeny - Lola (B-litter Phoenix), Scarlet (O-litter Cajun), Bogey (C-litter Syris), Jedi (O-litter Cajun) Cajun with her progeny - Jade and Ryder (U-litter Apollo), Scarlet beside Cajun. Rogun progeny - Eessee x Duke, (S-litter Cynder), Kazi (N-litter Juno), and S-litter Rumour beside dad.

Anyone have a favourite toy from the reunion goody bag?
Jack's favourite is the purple football. We tuck bits of cheese into the holes, and it has become his nightly reward for eating his dinner. He's a crappy eater, but he knows that he doesn't get the football until he cleans his bowl completely . . . so he does. Once he gets the football, he happily slams it on the floor -- thunk, thunk, thunk -- to make the bits of cheese pop out. When it's empty, we put it away, and by then, he's ready to settle for the evening.
But woe betide us if we don't get the football out fast enough after he finishes his dinner. Boy, do we hear about it! The football has become a routine that must NOT be broken. LOL.

Love that story...in our household, whatever toy is in Dante's mouth IS now Kazi's new favorite toy.
