Our girls are too heavy to be babies! We went to the mountains today. 3m of snow! Luckly we found a path. Asha was so excited. She wanted to walk all the way but it would be too much for her... so I know Karrie that's not easy to carry a babygirl Asha and Gino had first 1.5 hours drive together. My boy gave me a look "What is she doing here?". Then he fell in sleep comfortable. She was an angel. Sleeping in the truck Running crazy in the mountains.

WOW!!!!! Those are the coolest pictures, and those are very, very, lucky dogs!
No doubt that they slept on the way home. I think that Gino was thinking....thank goodness my little angel is sleeping with me or else I'd be missing her.
I'm going to take her tomorrow night to the beginning of an 8 week puppy socialization class offered in the city. Hopefully it will be a good experience for her...I'm sure that it will. Getting to play with the other puppies afterwards will be reward enough I'm sure.

The classes will be fun! Kazi got her vaccinations and ready to discover the world. Asha may play only in the wildness with her brother for the next two weeks. We have a vet appointment on Apr 16. Yesterday I was trimming Gino's nails. Asha got crazy. She was attacking me growling and barking. OMG... A little baby protects a big brother!

WOW such lucky dogs to run in such beautiful western scenery!
Last night my doorbell rings and I open it to a beautiful N litter Male. Steve and Heather were so excited to show me their new boy from the N litter, Bryce! They told me the collar colour but I forgot it caught up in the excitement of meeting the pup.
So Uncle Zeus got to meet him too but I was really carefull both being males and Zeus at over 2 I didn't want to give him much freedom around a small male pup. He was good though little more rammy then when he met Kazi last week and no drool trails this time.
Lovely pup, very handsome, nice calmer temperment it seemed in the visit, he fell asleep snoring in my lap! I didn't want to give him back!!!!

No news yet! ;D The birthday is "today" so we'll see!!
Omg Asha's ears are ADORABLE! we went back and forth deciding to leave the ears natural or crop them, but in the end cropping has won. Maybe for the 2nd dog down the line we will leave the ears. hehe.
I will definitely be taking pictures and posting them! I know in 8 weeks you guys might need a puppy fix as your babies will be getting quite large!
I can't tell you how much we're looking forward to this experience, and especially with summer around the corner we will be able to do some great socializing. Wish us luck lol!

Well Lisa.....our little "she devil" was playing with big brother Dante in the backyard today, and when she came into the house Kerrie noticed something different about her.......the brown all down one side of her. POOP!
Little devil must have fallen on it, rolled in it....not a pleasant end to her day, nor pleasant beginning to my evening either. lol.
Amazing bonding still happening with the two of them today,,,,Dante finally allowed Kazi to rest her body on him today while they were sleeping. First day that this has happened. So cute...so they finally slept touching eachother's bodies...yeah!!! Kazi kept making her way, slowly reaching out to him, until she made it happen. Typical female...always going after what she wants, not stopping til she gets it..and then lets Dante think it was all his idea. lol...atta girl!

Hey Kazi... you are not a hunting dog to roll in the poop. Maybe she likes a sink in the basement ? Gino would love to allow Asha to rest her body on him... but she is using her sharp baby teeth too often.

guess what I did yesterday? Big brother Dante was having a pee, and I walked underhim.....yup....you can guess the rest.....on my head, neck, collar......Mommy said I was not a very smart dog.....but I love my big brother and want to be near him/ And Mommy said I took a step backwards today also.....apparently biting my brothers "package" AGAIN is a step backwards....I don't get it....how else will he know who is the boss here! I think it's working in my favor....hahahahaha

Hahahaha... Kazi you are a cool sister! I am learning from you. My brother Gino doesn't pee in the backyard. So no pee shower for me yet I am not allowed to leave the backyard. Our second vaccination on Saturday... mom promised to take me to the park next week. I can not wait!

Hey Asha, it's Kazi. How is my sister??? Miss you, and the play time we shared. My big brother is ok, I guess, but I miss my sister. We had so much fun together, and got into so many things,...lol...it was great!
Good luck tomorrow at the vets....let me know your weight, and I wanted to let you know that after my second round of shots, my poop was a little loose. My Moms said it was from the vacinations, and maybe they were right. Don't forget to wait another 10 days after this vacination before being allowed to sniff the ground, etc....just to be careful.
I went to a "scent" class this past Wed instead of a puppy class. They were figuring that I would get more out of this class, and they will continue to socialize me as best they can with the new sounds, scents, kids, malls, cars, motorcycles...etc....
It was really cool....I had to find the "food treats" that my Mom brought for the trainer, and he hid them on me. So I had to sniff around to locate them, and of course my reward was dinner for me....yippee...I really liked this game. Dante is in the class after me cause he did this level already. The trainer said I did really well....he was fascinated to watch me as I didn't use my eyes to find it, just my nose. It's so cool being a puppy as I don't have any bad influences to follow. I've heard that near the end of the course, they put the food on door jambs, under carpets, etc, so I'm looking forward already to trying that. Then in level 2 they start to use real scents, such as birch oil....we will see how big brother does!
So let me know how tomorrow goes Asha.....I love you and miss you sister

Hi Kazi, You will be good at tracking if you like scent class. How was your socializing? Did you like other dogs? My mom worries I got discharge again and she will ask a vet to check for UTI tomorrow. She thinks I pee too often and not in proper places... they always complain. I want to go out with my brother and explore the world but... too many scary viruses in the dog park. Yes we will wait until next weekend. My mom takes me for a short walk to the people park.. it's fun too... but she doesn't allow me to sniff much what makes my walks miserable. You know that's all about scents! Miss you too my sister! Did not your mom take more pictures?

We are back from our vet. Asha doesn`t have UTI what is the great news. She got mild puppy vaginitis. It doesn`t require treatment. Her weight is 27lbs before the dinner (her tummy was empty). That`s a perfect weight for a female puppy. I use the chat of the average weight below. Asha will be 3 months in 3 days and may gain a few pounds Males are heavier. It would be correct to substract a few pounds for a female. 3 months - 30 lbs 4 months - 40 lbs 5 months - 50 lbs... up to 7 months. Then they slow up to gain weight. My dynamic duo We are going to tape her ears tonight. They are going crazy.
