Her ears are doing really good! The longest we've left them so far is 2 days. One of her tips curled in a couple weeks ago but when we taped them after that I just made sure they were taped to the post well and havent had a problem since. They havent flopped or even really looked weak at then end of the 2 days...really happy with how its going! Kenzie is looking awesome! She is a gorgeous girl!

You guys with these females. You know that I had such a hard time deciding between them. Kenzie was a clone to Autumn, just a bit busier. But as I see her being all relaxed, I must wonder if I played that one out right...lol.
Scarlet was a tough one for me, and between her and Teah I drove myself a bit crazy. Those two are very similar, just one is black while the other red. But body style is similar, chunky, etc. I warned Jess too that Teah could be a bit "busy", but there she is playing and sleeping all nice beside her littler buddy.
Autumn is a holy terror with the pugs. Poor Ninja has marks all over her from Autumn gnawing on her all the time. She never stops, always on the go, and would play with Ninja 24/7 if she could. The two are skinny because they just keep going and going.
So looking back, maybe I chose the wrong puppy after-all. Sure Autumn looks great, but she's the devil in disguise...lol. I should have kept them ALL, at least for another month...ha-ha!
I actually think Autumn is pretty sweet over-all, just too rough with poor Ninja. She got tossed in the kitchen with her mother last night. No more protecting her from the other Dobes, she's gotta take some of the lumps she been dishing out.
With all that's been going on over here I was slow to introduce Autumn to the crate as well. Remedied that recently, otherwise I think she will become a stick figure.
Anyhow, the ears look good on these pups. I don't see anything wrong with Kenzie's ears at all. I will suggest that the stays be positioned closer to the front edge of the ear with Teah. There is a slight buckle that needs to be straightened out, and this gives the ear a slightly rounded look, withe the tips coming closer together. Other then that, looks like everything is on track.
I'll get some shots of my little devil shortly.

Teah is an angel! Very obedient and sweet! I was soo afraid you were going to change your mind on the spot when we came to pick her up!! LoL Im glad you didnt tho, she actually reminds me alot of Gilda and Cara. Very sweet and calm. Everyone comments on how she is so good for a puppy. Would love to see pics of your devil though!!!! (I'll do that with the posts when they go back up)

Kenzie may look relax but when she decides it's time to play, she will play non stop. All the pups seem to be doing great! It was a hard decision picking the pups and I was more then happy to have Monica pick for us. Kenzie is a great puppy and like Teah, we always get comments on how well behave she is for a puppy. She loves water and was swimming at the cottage this past weekend. My wife laughs at the fact that for such a large dog they sure are sucks who like to be on your lap. It is crazy to see how fast they grow! I know I read similar comments on previous posts but when you go through it, you realize how true it is. We love our KenIe and can't express how happy we are! Thanks Monica!

Oh man the pup are growing all fast! Scarlet is 33 pounds now!! So great to see Kenzie and Teah's pictures also:) Scarlet is mostly a low key girl, but does play hard, the summer heat is also not phasing her at all. She loves basking in the sun and still demands multiple walks a day lol. She finished puppy class last week and is picking everything up so quickly. We move on to obedience level 1 in a couple weeks too. We definitely needs some photos of autumn here too Monica!!! And hey where are our o litter boys??

Lol! I just hope Diesel won't rip his winter coat when I finally buy it. I bought him a cheap sweater last year just to see his reaction and soon as I put it on he wanted to rip it into shreds. If he's busy doing something or when he's out running, it doesn't seem to bother him. It's just when he notices he's wearing it really bugs the crap out of him.

There is no way that Autumn would leave a dress on. She was at the vet for shots yesterday and weighed in at 29 pounds, 20 of that was attitude!

So today I took Kenzie for a walk down the Trans Canada trail. Everything was going well. She is not on a leash and is very good about it. She usually will run ahead, stop, look back and wait until I get close before she starts to run ahead again. On our walk, we usually meet a whole bunch of other dogs. On this date, she met a Bug(part Boston terrier, part pug) that ran full speed at her. She freaked out and started running the opposite direction yelping. After running about 200 metres, she turns around and runs back to the Bug. They played for a good 20 minutes before we walked on. The only other time she did that was when we met a red male Doberman with natural ear name Oscar who started to chase her, she did the same running and yelping in the opposite direction.
I am finding that she is more timid around other dogs now then when she was a younger. Is this normal?

It's normal. They go through fear periods and build their confidence slowly. That's a reason why she stays next to you on the walk. It won't last but obedience training will help to keep her around. I always train "Come" at this age. They learn fast and enjoy treats a lot.

Thanks Lisa for the advice
we do a lot of training during our walks, and do a lot of sit, stay and come with treats. she does very well with these
