If all goes well and we can catch up to speed, Scarlet and I will be joining you all in training Sundays. I've emailed Monica just waiting to hear her ok it . No training next week as Monica is at the UKC show. Planned to start back the week after so that's good to give you some time to arrange things for Scarlet. Hopefully Kazi will be done with her heat cycle then and none of us are too far along yet in level 1, so hopefully you can get in with us. Looking forward to that.

AS I said, Reyna is really a beginner too, and there is nothing to be worried about... no one is judging you or your puppy! We are all at different levels, and everyone started at the beginning anyway, right?

Good luck tomorrow Andreina......don;t worry about "proving" yourself.....we are all going to have bad and good weeks....it is what it is. You will learn a lot about yourself, and your dog. Enjoy the training, as it is the writing of a new chapter in your life with Scar.

Yes training is something I really enjoy doing with Scar. She's still a bit of a young girl so I don't expect too much too soon anyway. We're just gonna have fun and learn lots I hope Monica got my last email... I can't go tmw anymore so well have to reschedule for another day this week. I was looking forward to going with Kerrie but My boss wants me in to tie up some loose ends at work. Our store unfortunately is closing up and it's one of my last few shifts

Well we had "monica boot camp" yesterday to get caught up on to where you guys are in the group class .... ummmm now I know what you mean Jo.... hahah Scarlet was not very happy that she was not getting away with any S*** from Monica. She slept in the car there and back.... thankful she made it a pleasant 1.5 hour drive for me lol. and all last night she was a tired girl. Just wait til she gets in with the group, she will be so tired she will sleep for days lol. We only did lesson 1 as we have only basic ob and a lot to learn, so we will def be working hard on our homework this week. So, Kerrie I will see you next Tuesday at Monica's for lesson 2 work. It's funny, I had Scarlet in a puppy class when we first got her, an obedience class and an "advanced" obedience.... Each class I thought would get more and more advanced, but they never really did, and we were still working on basic things like watch me and leave it... Meanwhile I am sitting there and my dog can't even pay attention to me, because we were never really taught control! It got frustrating.. There are a lot of things I am hoping to learn from this journey and I know we will get there in time! Finally we will be in a challenging class where we can actually learn some real obedience lol. I am very excited, we even did a bit of training this morning! see you guys soon!

Yes you will definately see a huge difference between the classes you have taken, and the classes you are about to embark on. Looking back on our journey, we have not only learned some obedience training with Dante, we have learned about the breed from Monica also. Lets face it, our dogs teach us not only about themselves, but also about ourselves....our strengths and our weaknesses.

I called Barb last night and she told me 2PM today so that's 3 of us there for 2 PM. LOL, I told you that after seeing all the dogs wearing prongs in the last D.O.G photo that it would be training boot camp. Bet you had some tired pups last night? We'll do the same thing next week, have everyone work together at 2:00 pm. Puppy class is at 1:00 pm though. When they're small and cute they don't have to work as hard...lol.

our two dogs slept last night on the way home, and after their meals, slept thru the night....I was very happy-pleased with how well Kazi worked yesterday. After 2 weeks of not seeing her, I was worried how well she would train, but she surprised me....

Kazi did good!! Besides making Rogun and Dante go out of their minds when she came within 2 feet of them lol.... Did you have a dober-wrestling match when you got home? I bet Dante and Kazi were excited to finally see each other again after so long

Its Kerrie... I was very surprised with them when we got home..They were very good but I think they were tired. We both tethered a dog to us so we had some control....Monica let us put Dante and Kazi in the training area alone so we could not only let them get their reunion over with but she also wanted to see how Kazi was responding to Dante's advances...They wrestled, body slammed each other, gave kisses, ran around, etc,,The usual stuff.. but over all I think Dante wanted more to play with her than you know what... It was a good training session with all the distractions for the dogs..Its easy to train a dog when there is just a couple of you but add in the distractions and its a different matter..(just like the real world) but Dante head was in an other place..He was useless..lol Scarlet did really well and as I said I could really see a change in her from one week to the next..The homework you did during the week really showed in class this week.. Kazi and I must say Barbara did very well considering she had been apart from us for 2 weeks but I really notice Barbaras confidence coming through now.. Just wondering if Barbara and Joanne are bringing their workout clothes (or bikinis) this week..Reyna and Kazi were sure giving them a workout physically and mentally...lol...The sweat was just pouring of them at certain points...Reyna was not wanting to be put in a down position...Poor little girl looked so cute when she was pouting with her ears down and her eyes looking downward...She is a sweetheart.. And as for Zues... I think he was the best behaved this week by far...He just did everything soooo calmly while all the other dogs were up to their antics...He would just sit their with his HUGE chest puffed out looking as cool a cucumber.. Well I had better go and do some home work with my pups...Dante has been in a down stay for the last 25 minutes while I am on the computer and well Kazi is just lying on her bed... Got to get her up and do some work with her...Just wish it wasn't raining cats and dogs out there...

I don't know if it was the 'earlier' time slot today, but little miss sassy-pants reyna has been out like a light ALL DAY. She came in, ate half her food, and RAN into her crate to curl up for a nap. We went out, came back, she ate the remaining half of her food and has been crashed on the couch ever since. She's going out for a walk now... no time for lazy dogs in this house!! LOL. She did have a 10 minute play with Mango though... Anyone elses dog toast after today?
