It's not super messy. You'll just see tiny brown pieces on the floor and it's easy to pick up or vacuum. The pieces are hard and doesn't get soft or anything in room temp so you don't have to worry about it on carpet. If Scar doesn't touch it for days or a week still keep it...dont throw it thinking she's bored of it. I had mine lying on the floor and when Diesel was in the mood to chew it he'd go and get it. It's really hard and it will last you quite sometime. As I said before, I bought him an large one from last Woofstock and with him chewing it occasionally it lasted for 5 months. I got him him an extra large so we'll see how long that'll last.

Had to share this pic here because it makes me laugh really hard. Reyna and Diesel in the lead, Diamond coming on strong, Scarlet bringing up the rear, and Isys... getting a ball and a mouth and face full of leaves at the same time. Priceless. Off-topic, but . . . is Diamond wearing a burnt orange and black Chilly Dog coat (or is it just a trick of the light)? It looks great on her, and that's the colour I'm thinking of for Jack -- because I'm hoping the burnt orange will complement his rust markings. Jack, of course, couldn't care less.

Yes Dyanne... Diamond's Chilly Dog coat is the burnt orange... or I think they call it burnt amber. I wasn't sure about it when I got it... but very happy with the way the colour brings out her markings as well. It was funny actually, we modeled all of the Chilly Dog colours and lines pretty much. Diesel - Green Zeus - Red Ronin - Black Diamond - Burnt Amber Isys - Chilly Dog Sweater Reyna - wearing her own hoodie... the little Diva. Scarlet - well Scarlet's parents don't love her enough... so they didn't bring her a coat. (had to Andreina) LOL

Gary you are too sweet! We won't tell anyone else what a softie you are, don't worry. ;D I could have stayed in that off-leash ALL DAY and watched them all fly around!! SO many HAPPY dogs! If it wasn't getting late, we could have spent a LONG time there... more off leash next time if it's the same type of park! I LOVE our D.O.G. meetups! Gary, it is such an amazing thing that you started. I feel so proud to have so many new and wonderful friends through our group. I can honestly say that Reyna has completely changed my life in so many ways. I had no idea that she would bring me a whole new family! I keep looking at pics and thinking how much alike Reyna and Scarlet are (right now until Scarlet outgrows her hahaha)! There are so many pics where they look so similar! The 2 that REALLY caught my eye are: In the dog park, the one of them both running full tilt, balls in mouth, ears pinned back and Diesel running close with ears straight up. The second is one of the 3 ladies walking side by side, but BOTH Reyna and Scar have their left ears pinned back, right ear standing straight up! LOL OK... here are the awards that I give for DOG IV: Best Birthday Boy: ZEUS (for inviting us all out to play on his special day!!) Miss Congeniality: Isys (for being the most polite and ladylike) Best Battle-Cry: Diamond (for her 'squirrel alert'!!) Jay-Z Award (because he's Big Pimpin'): Diesel (due to his sheer size and blingy collar) Survivor Woofstock: Scarlet (for overcoming all obstacles...including not having a coat LOL) Most Likely to Clear a Sidewalk: Ronin (because of his confident swagger) Most Likely to Clear a Room: Reyna (for being the first to leave a stinky little gifty on the Woofstock floor) Zeus also gets a special mention for being SUCH an awesome guy OFF-LEASH in the dog park!! He was SO HAPPY on his 2nd off leash adventure, I don't think he knew what to do with himself LOL! Nose on the ground... Sniff Sniff Sniff! For that, The 'Cutest Off Leash Award' also goes to Zeus! Reyna could also easily get the 'DIVA Award' for the day... first, she does her business whenever and wherever it suits her. Second, she got more treats yesterday than the rest of the group combined, third she ate not one, not two but THREE frozen yogurts!!! and then there's her hoodie. Of COURSE she had to stand out from the crowd LOL (in actuality, her mom forgot her Watermelon-coloured Chilly Dog!). I have a few pics I will post soon! Ian - can we order a disk of the photos from you?? I LOVE so many of these shots!

I know on some ahots I was moving the camera and I need to get to some of the settings that give a faster shutter speed as I can see blurs of dog feet movement etc. I'll branch out into trhe bigger lens next I was pretty happy, I trashed about 50 shots but that's what's cool about digital and a big memory card. Let's see without looking my guess is Ian Milan, but could be Di sitting pretty.

LMAO @ Lana... yes, it seems it takes a long time for his camera to focus when the power is off. That's what he gets for buying a Nikon.

Great shots Gary, thank you for sharing. Taking picture with these fancy cameras comes with time...I'm still learning and I even have a Canon I also took a beginner course & I still can't figure out how to take "quick" pictures on manual...auto is always simplest, manual if I have time ;D
