ps. I remember telling Kerrie about this website where I got all of Scar's toys at once for a really great price. I forget which site we actually ended up ordering from and can't find it, but this one is one we were considering.. It just didn't have tuffie toys, so thats how I know we ordered somewhere else cuz we definitely had a bunch of those on the list. Ill keep looking around but in the meanwhile anyone looking to stock up on toys, this is the place. Shipping is steep at around 30$ but it still cuts costs rather than buying at full retail. www.dog.com/dog-toys/9/Cost for Canadian Shipping Base Shipping Charge = $30.00 (includes Shipping, Customs Fees, and Duties.) Per Pound Charge= $0.65 per pound EDIT: Just found another awesome site... This ones probably more worth while. Shipping is a bit more though, but greater selection, including Tuffie toys www.entirelypets.com/dogtoys.html

LOL... Andreina that's so much true. IF my dogs are silent that's a warning sign! Asha doesn't eat toilet paper anymore. I was successful to explain her that's not a good idea but I can not stop her stealing my husband socks. She is a real girl and likes to keep everything clean. She gets socks and throws them in her water bowl to wash. Is not it funny? Karrier please post a picture....I need the morning laugh Andreina the toy prices are awesome! Thank you for sharing the link. www.dog.com/dog-toys/9/

I've spent hundreds...and I do mean hundreds on dog toys just for Diesel. He has a thing for stuffies and yes I know they don't last long but if that kept him away from chewing my shoes, furniture, electronic devices and etc.. by all means I was all for it. Try boxes too...Diesel loved tearing boxes into pieces. Clean up is a beeyotch but hey...keeps him occupied for 30 mins LOL. Try also ice cubes, frozen berries and cold carrots.
Like Dyanne pointed out, I have yet to find an indestructible toy. He's had all sorts of toys and majority of them never lasted a week. He has his wubba's and cuz ...over 80% kong toys but unless they squeak or its fuzzy, they pretty much get tossed aside on the 'boring' pile. So yes...even if I went out there and tried to look for more expensive "tough" toys...chances are he'll find a way to kill it or he probably will get bored of it quickly...so I'd rather stick to stuffies.
When he was less than 6 months old, it was like manslaughter...kill on the spot. Now that he's a bit older, its like first degree murder...there's some planning involved. I don't buy him a lot of toys now since he seems to cherish them quite a bit more than before. He loves balls....get those orange hockey balls from Canadian Tire. I also bought those Tuff Balls from Petsmart. It took D quite a bit to break into it but it kept him busy for 2 weeks if I remember correctly. Don't forget ropes...the bigger the better. Get those ones with the big ball at the end...and by ball I meant the rope is like twisted into a ball but be warned...hurts like a mofo when your dog is flinging it in the air and it hits you with it...if you could only see how my leg/arms looked like last year...people though my fiance was beating me up!
Check out Global since they have these tartar busters and they are pretty good. It's good for their teeth since the edges can reach certain areas that most meaty bones can't get to but it does leave your carpet smelly so I suggest putting a bed sheet or something on top of the carpet. Bully sticks were D's fav and still is. Also check out deer antlers and the hard cheese sticks...gawd...for the love of me I can't remember the name. Andreina and Eric bought them during Woofstock maybe they can help out with the name/brand.

D's a cardboard box guy too! Zeus love ripping them up too. That's his treat when we come back from grocery shopping and were able to pack the groceries in cardboard boxes.

Whoa! Just took a look at these two websites. Great prices. Jack has a Busy Buddy bone that sits unused on top of the fridge because I got tired of paying $12+ for refill discs at our local Global. And Jack rarely gets bully sticks because they're sooo expensive and he demolishes them in minutes. But at these prices, I'm tempted to reconsider (just don't tell Jack).

LOL... Kazi your sister is proud of you.... and promised to find and destroy dragons in the pillows too. You are lucky that's not feather! Once Gino chewed on my duvet and feather was flying all over the room. It was not fun to clean it up. I just noticed Kazi is as tall as Dante Their butts on the same level.
