1st off Happy New Year! You were outside with a shovel and a scooper Do I win? Now I only have one doberman and I'm pretty regular in my pooper duty not ever more then a couple days, usually every day. Now that we got that subject going...I walked my boy on his usual walk route. It's 2 1/2 miles of subdivisions and city streets almost all on sidewalks........so here is a quiz for you, keeping in mind the subject. To not concentrate on my sore knee and to be able to push myself back into my walking routine and get my knee better I had to concentrate on something so I started to count............. Count what?? Dog Poops ;D Yup and my quiz is how many did I count on sidewalks, front lawns etc with the snow gone? When i started to count I set a goal # and I surpassed that. Any guesses? Count yours when you walk your dogs and tell us your results! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Well seeing you are the only reply I guess I have to give the answer.
NOT EVEN CLOSE!! I thought maybe 50, then I could see that was passed, ok 75, that was passed and then I figured ok 100 and on the last 2 blocks I passed that and ended up at 116.
Is that amazing or what!! This is a nice area in Grimsby and not a pardon the pun...Crappy area!

I used to live in Mississauga and was surprised to see the # of dog poops left along the sidewalks. In the springtime it would be impossible for those same dogs to avoid stepping in their own poop. So I would notice those lazy-ass individuals who left their dogs dirt behind, taking on another route, one that was dog poop free! When I moved to Erin I just caved-in and started picking up everyone's dirt. Then one day I was out withe one dog, had a whole in my pooper baggie, and headed home (a stones throw away) to get the next dog and a bag to clean-up. When didn't someone actually stop and call me out on not picking up the poop. I mean I put a stick by the bag so that I marked where to go back, and I clean the entire neighbourhood's dog crap... then someone calls me out! LOL. Isn't life fun? I'd like to say that I was diplomatic, but they were really rude and presumptuous, so I let them know it. Its hard being so shy and socially challenged. tee-hee

Good story Monica and always how it goes the innocent are guilty! It amazes me though to see as many poops as I counted that day and yet I never see dogs pooping. There are some favorite spots like power boxes, Cable boxes and a few hydro poles, a couple guard rails along a creek we cross in 2 places. Of course walking an intact male he feels those spots need a little squirt to tell all those dogs pooping ...."That's the King's Turf"
