Ohh Apollo was looking good today!! So nice to see you guys again! Apparently scarlet was looking nice to him as well lol but she wasn't havin any of that crap lol. So after Scarlet had a nice pastry after class she came home and tried to snatch a piece of banana bread from the back of the counter. We managed to grab it from her mouth though.... Ugh! Monica she needs to come stay wit u for a few days lol we will take my favorite boy Rhody , Cajun or a couple of pugs! Haha Oh if you took Rhody for a couple days I would never get him back. I`d have to hunt you down. He`s such a good boy, just as long as you don`t let him bring his dog dish up onto the bed. He likes to play hide and seek... bury the dish under the blanket, then dig the blankets off to find it again... taking down a comforter or two in the process. He can be a bit of a bed hog too at night... so trust me, you don`t want him...lol. Apollo is Rhody`s son. So its no wonder you like him then. He sure liked Scarlet. Watch out Michele, don`t put Apollo out unattended in the yard if you see a little white car circling your street. LOL.

One-adam 12----One-adam 12....be on the lookout for a red head, approx 50lbs, answers to the name "Scarlet"....last seen hunting down a 90lb black and rust Doberman, intact male, who answers to the name "Apollo"....could be considered FERTILE!! Again, I repeat, could be considered FERTILE!

It may be difficult, haha but I guess I could cope with him stealing the bed! I doubt I would ever pry Apollo from Michele haha, I will have to settle for visits . Oh and just so you know, When the Cajun X Rhody litter happens, I will be coming up to visit lots and you better check for puppies in my sweater when I leave.... Not promising anything.... I told Scarlet to snatch up a temporary brother next Sunday and we will bring him home. OKAY, I have the second dog itch ALREADY! but no, I have to tell myself no.... I have enough dog with this sassy firecracker at home for now lol. Plus I may get killed if I bring another home anytime soon hehe.

Congrats to Kazi and Reyna who passed their exam yesterday to move onto level 2!!! Kazi, Dante, Rogun.... I hope ur mama's gave you your special cupcakes later that evening Scar and Reyna wolfed theirs down like piglets If anyone wants me to post the recipe let me know! really easy to make.. So my feisty red head did not pass the exam on her first attempt... But that's ok. She had a bit of an off day. I think she was really exhausted from training before the exam, as she was falling asleep on her mat, waiting for her turn to test lol. I know we can do better than we did, so we are going to keep practising, re-test and get our certificate next week Of course she would do a down stay in class earlier, at home and any other day of the week... But come exam time, she got up from the down about 15 times lol... I thought, well its over now! lol she screwed it ... She did however, heel well, did some good left and right turns.. and was not too bad on the stand for exam... Maybe I will get a better critique of myself when I see the video Kerrie took... I am sure it will help a lot. Practice, practice, practice..! Even Barb and I were saying yesterday, think about where we all were 10 weeks ago with our dogs... I know for us, its been a 100% turn around not only with Scarlets obedience but her behaviours... We still need to perfect our movement and execution, but I am pleased with our progress anyway... More to learn for Level 2, can't wait to take it with you all.... Thanks Monica for the great classes!

Reyna was SO TIRED last night after her big training day and then playing with her mom, half-sister, cousins, uncles, friends, etc... Oh BOY! She wolfed her dinner, had a BATH, and totally crashed out.
Reyna got some nice roasted chicken (skinless of course!) as a reward for passing her test. She still needs practice, however, I am really happy with the progress she's made after a mere 10 weeks... and it's so much fun!!
I think we all use it as an excuse for coffee after and puppy plays LOL... oh and attempting to steal one of our Dobereich favs like Charlie, Rhody, Kaia, etc...
Looking forward to Level 2!
AND PICS FROM YESTERDAY PLEASE!!!

Congrats to Reyna and Scarlet, and of course Kazi.. I can't believe how far we have all come in the last 10 weeks....and when I look at how well-behaved Dante is, I can't believe how far we still have to go... Kazi is doing much better tonight on her heeling, turns and sits, and she only got up once from her 3 minute long down-stay..phew..so each day we will continue to make progress ... The weather is terrible here tonight....the winds are whipping the branches on the trees to and fro, and the rains have come and gone with no rhime or reason. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the beginning of level 2, and of course our coffee-klutch afterwards
