A couple different people have mentioned to me about meeting for play dates with our dogs who live in the London area, so I am going to plan a playdate for us all to meet, go for a walk, and let our dogs play. There are 3 dogs that are all under a year of age, and our 3 yr old boy Dante, and a 2 yr old female. Two of the dogs are not Dobereich dogs, so we are opening up our family to them.
So, if anyone in the Chatham to Woodstock area would like to meet up, mention it here, or PM me and let me know.
Lets get together for a couple of hours and enjoy eachothers company with our dogs.....

I`ll have to let Nike`s owners know, they`re in London. They have 2 Dobes, the other is not a Dobereich dog, but that doesn`t matter. Awww, maybe you guys can love-up my lil`Nike. Is Winston in your crew? P-litter Kinder is also in London, she has a doberbro too. Mandy as well, with her two dobes. There are several out your way actually, a London meet could get a pretty good turn-out.

I am looking at the Family Day long weekend to have a "walk".....Springbank park was suggested, and I think it makes great sense....there are bike trails that literally wind thru the city, so we will have a nice path, easy parking and easy access for people too.
Please let me know whether Sunday or Monday works better as we will get final arrangements together....feel free to PM myself, invite friends with their dogs as we hope to have approx. 10 dogs there....

Awwww. We here in the centre of the universe are jealous!
For those going to the Woodstock show, there's a really great dog-walking park at the west end of Town -- beautiful riverside trails that were totally deserted when we were there last year. Of course, our visit did take place in the midst of a huge snowbelt dump . . . so that even with AWD, we managed to get totally stuck in the parking area (so much snow had fallen that we missed the entrance). Fortunately, one of Bill's Christmas gifts was a collapsible shovel for the car, so with me rocking the car and him digging, we got out.

So, it's a week away from our walk.......and the snow is coming down nicely this morning.....we can only hope that we still have it on the ground next weekend.

Hey Barb,
Any chance that you might be willing to reschedule your meet in London so that you can come to the show on Sunday? I am still waiting to hear back from a couple people, but I was offering to start the second level training on family day. Maybe we can target the Mono cliffs for the first DOG walk of the year, then hit London after that?
