Hello everyone,
I am new to this board and thought I would introduce myself. I am from Ottawa and very excited to be waiting for a puppy from the O litter from Argus and Cajun. My family and I have been visiting the board to see pictures of the recent puppies fro the N litter that went home. They are beautiful!

Thanks for the warm welcome! I think this forum is a fantastic way for everyone to stay in touch. I am sure I will be looking for expert advice on ear posting. I have done some research and it appears there are many ways to do the same thing. Gary, I have seen some great photos of you boy Zeus III, he is a handsome looking dog. My favorite picture is the one in the race car. Here is a picture of our current lab/retriever Kaylie. She is 11years old and full of life. Loves to chase squirrels up at the cottage. She will certainly enjoy having someone else around to play with. Attachments:

Zeus thanks you for the kind words Hak T. He loves vehicles for sure and if he gets a ride well that's priceless to him. He's quite the seasoned traveller as I travel for business usually a few times a week. When day trips, he's my travelling companion.
Monica has a great manual with anything and everything you need for your new Dobereich puppy and ear posting is in there and her way is the only way you should follow. I think I mentioned in the N Litter for Dobermarch and their pup Nova, but get your ear tape (Tensoplast / Elastoplast) from Monica when you get the pup and the Hypafax covering that is part of making the ear posts.
That tape is not in most usual places. I looked in every drug store chain, wallmarts, pet stores, etc known to man and even my vet had something close but not the same. Life is so much better for you and the pup with the tape Monica uses and it's all explained in the manual.
The hypafix you may find but just get Monica to get you a tube of rolls of the Elastoplast/Tensoplast and a small box of Hypafix and you will be happy you did and should have enough for the whole posting period and save yourself time and grief looking.
You must be very excited for sure! Looking at a male, color? I think there must be some reds coming as Cajun is red.

Hi there O=litter......welcome from Barbara, Kerrie, Dante (F-litter) and Kazi (N-litter)....welcome to the Dobereich Family!
We hope that you truly enjoy the journey you are about to embark upon......it was an awesome experience for us, and we enjoyed it immensely. We are still enjoying the transition of bringing Kazi home and watching her grow.
Before you take your puppy home, Monica will be giving you hands on lessons with the ear posting. We recommend purchasing all of the necessary equipment you will need, including the scissors, from Monica as the supplies are difficult to attain.
Enjoy, and we wish all the O-litter people best wishes.......
