Hi All I recently adopted a three-year-old red male, Tyrion (formerly Hunter). I have raised several Dobe pups in the past, but this is the first time I've adopted an adult. People seem amazed that I haven't had him since puppyhood, maybe because he is large and I'm not. Here he is after a hard day at the dog park chasing sighthounds. Why are they so hard to catch? And here, holding his Kongsicle close: I didn't make it to the hike on Sunday, but it sounded like a great idea. We plan to attend the next one when I hope the weather will co-operate. This boy is phobic about rain, as expected, though I did once have a red girl who loved rain. We're looking forward to taking part in the forum and meeting everyone!

Welcome to the forum! Your boy looks great. The last picture is amazing. It will be nice for Dobereich calendar. Tyrion has a beautiful head. What litter is he from?

Thank you! That's a good question--I don't know his litter letter. He was born in March; parents are Gosty and Jack.

Oh welcome Tyrion and mom! lol! Too bad you couldn't make it to the walk, we look forward to seeing you next time. I had the pleasure of playing with Tyrion a handful of times at Monica's while he stayed there. He is a gorgeous boy, and seemed to really love my red girl Scarlet. I will have to go through my phone and post the ones I have of them together. ;D He is a very gorgeous boy, and I am happy he found a good home. Love the updates!

Thanks, Andreina! Would be great to see those pics of Tyrion and Scarlet. Maybe a playdate at a local dog park would be fun.

Welome to the forum. I also remember meeting Tyrion at Monica's, before he was placed with you and I was really impressed with his beautiful personality and how handsome he is. You have a real winner there.
Now I am somewhat biased ( like Andreina..lol) as I also have a red boy from the Q-litter. We look forward to meeting you at a future get together.

Hi, and welcome to the forum. Tryion is definately a handsome boy, and we would have dog-snatched him from Monica. if we had room for him....as if Monica wouldn't have noticed.
We look forward to meeting you at the next walk. We had a a wonderful time yesterday, old friends and new, and it is such a great way to meet other dog owners face to face. We also have the best behaved Dobermans, as these meetups are a great way for the dogs to also socialize with one another in a controlled environment.

Thanks for the warm welcome!
Tyrion is very friendly with people and dogs, and very playful. I'm finding him to be very intelligent as well. And, he's quite a good model!

Thank you, Svetlana! I'm just glad he doesn't take pics of me while I'm asleep and post them on a forum.
