We love rainy days because they mean that we have the beach at Scarborough Bluffs pretty much to ourselves. Jack doesn't care about the rain if it means he gets to swim, so off we went last Tuesday. As we arrived, the sun started peeking through. Our timing couldn't have been better! P.S. Thanks, Lana, for putting us on to this. We've been down a few times now. Attachments:

Sorry, I can't figure out how to post more than one pic in a message, so this will be four different messages. (I'll ask for instructions in the picture posting thread.) Attachments:

Jack and Asha would make a great swimming duo. I am guessing if he would allow her to bite him LOL
Excellent capture of him taking off. Such a strong and agile body!

Jack and Asha would make a great swimming duo. I am guessing if he would allow her to bite him LOL If Jack and Asha lived a little closer together, they could start the Dobereich Synchronized Swimming Team. I'd love to see Jack wearing sparkly false eyelashes. And yes, he would definitely allow Asha to bite him. Jack loves any kind of attention from the girls. Just ask Scarlet! But I think Gino might have something to say about all this.

Drive down Brimley and into the park. Then bear left and take the road to the far eastern parking lot. A broad path runs east out of the parking lot. We follow this until it starts to peter out, then cut down to the beach and walk along to the far eastern end, where there are few, if any, people. It's a bit of a trek but well worth it because Jack loves it. He knows exactly where we are and what's going to happen and can barely contain his enthusiasm (translation: he must be reminded frequently to mind his on-lead manners).

It's so nice to hear that Jack loves the girls.....you know....Asha's sister Kazi could "fill in" for her until she can make the trip to Ontario herself.

I recognize that beach Dyanne! Lol. I love going there and so does Diesel. We just walk towards the very end and I let him Off leash there. We see a few dogs here and there but I haven't had any problems. During the summer though there's definitely more people so I try to get there by 9am or 10 am and leave by noon. I take him there when its really hot since the water cools him down. Also, this is the only place he's allowed to dig and does he ever dig to his hearts content. If you see any holes there Dyanne...he's probably the culprit. Lol

That's hilarious because . . . . . . we took Jack to the beach again this past Saturday -- in the evening just before dark. Most people were leaving, so we had the far eastern end pretty much to ourselves. Jack was completely fascinated by two deep holes in the sand. He sniffed and investigated them thoroughly. I assumed that kids had dug them out, but maybe it was Diesel!

I know one of em wasn't Diesel's handiwork...and if I remember correctly its close to the water. He's made 2 others this week. Sometimes I go back and the hole isn't as big because the wind carries the sand over it but most of the time you can tell someone...or I should say something did some digging there lol
