Here are a few pics of our sweet little mischief maker, Loki (orange collar). Joël and I are so happy to finally have our furry little "son" home! First family photo Before he had all the glue scrubbed off his noggin (it was a labour of love - a bit of mineral oil and a lot of patience. I cleaned him up while he napped) PAWS! We spoil him a little. What a ferocious Dobe! Does anyone have tips for taking nice pictures? It's hard to capture how beautiful he is with the flash (it gives him "crazy eyes") and the colours are always so washed out without the flash.

Awww... cuteness overload! Welcome to Dobereich family joelkaitloki Loki is a strong and handsome boy. Yes he looks spoiled but there is nothing wrong with spoiling your puppy LOL. My girl is Rogun's daughter. I don't take many pictures inside. It's not easy. If you want to get some fun pictures of your boy you may follow my steps: - Take him outside in the fenced area. - Ask your husband to play with him or let him do his zoomies - Set mode to sports for capturing moving subjects... a running man image media.wiley.com/Lux/39/303839.image0.jpg- shoot as many times as you can to capture funny positions while your boy is playing As usually I get 2-3 of 100 shots that I like. If you want to capture his handsomeness try to use P mode. You may take pictures inside if you have enough natural light or use a professional flash...or you have a special camera. BTW your pictures are good. I like the one where he sits next to the couch. You captured sunlight and his huge paws very nice. Such a cute face!

Awwwww! Loki is a sweetheart. The second picture, the one that shows his beautiful brown eyes, reminds me sooo much of Jack, Loki's uncle, at that age. Even when Jack was being a total brat, which was most of the time, his eyes could melt our hearts.

Very nice little family Loki is so adorable! The photos look good, We are still figuring out our camera too, there are too many buttons lol.. Just experiment with lighting, and different settings till you get comfortable using it... try inside and outside. Take lots and lots of pics! good for memories as well as learning your camera . I wish I had taken more..

Welcome to our family......love the pictures of Loki. So far, my favourite picture if of him looking up while he's on his bed, surrounded by toys and stuffies. Those eyes melted me....reminding me of my little Kazi-Doodle. No matter how "bad" the dog has been, one look from eyes like that and my alzheimer's immediately kicks in. Just keep practicing with your camera modes, and if you can visit a Henry's shop with your camera, they are very experienced people who will help you...even if you ask over the phone. Just keep taking pictures, as Loki is "grow" in size very quickly.....it's as if one day it just happens and suddenly he's 60 lbs and you can't figure out how he got there? Enjoy your boy, and keep posting pictures and stories. Barbara

Well if you're wondering if I fell off the face of the earth, I was busy with this little monkey for the past 3 weeks. Brown/White collar Shaman stayed with me while his parents went on a cruise throughout Europe. youtu.be/MrRmP4zz4s4

Awwwww. Shaman is a cutie -- and so is Po. Jack would have loved to join in. I swear he imprinted on pugs. He will drag us halfway across the park if he spots a pug, though the pug doesn't necessarily share his enthusiasm for a meeting. LOL.
But did I spot a new fence in the video? Shows how long it has been since we were out for a visit!
