I was looking at Taste of The Wild as well. I was looking for something with some quality fish in it (mainly salmon because of the oils, which I will supplement if needed.)
Sorry to laugh at this but how you put it is funny

I've just gone through the "elephant patties- weight loss" thing with Quin and it's no fun.
Just switched him to Go Lamb and Rice and I think we have a winner. Even the meds the vet gave him last week only marginally improved the issue so I figured it had to be the salmon formula. He loved it but I don't think it was doing a thing for him as he had lost about 4 lbs in the past 2 months, which he could ill afford, so here's hoping. This changing dog food formula merry-go-round is a pain.

OK, so here's a status update on Summit. After all this discussion, Petcurean just advised me that they are discontinuing the Holistic end of the Summit line. They will keep their 3 meats formulas under the Summit label, which is their lower end food.
Petcurean used to have another label called Foundations. They discontinued that label and moved those formulas over to the Summit Holistic when they introduced the Now. The Go' has always been their top end food, however the Now was their intro into grain free.
So I'm being told that they will not mess with the Go' formulas, and therefore everyone who is on the Summit Chicken, be aware and get another bag now, then blend this bag over to the Go' Daily defense Chicken (the closest product to the Summit Chicken).
The Go' chicken is very similar to the Summit Chicken in fact. The Go' is the higher end line, and I have used this formula for many years without there being much change to it. So here's hoping, and for everyone who wants to know, my dogs will eventually go over to the Go' Chicken, and some (Isis and the pugs) will go the the Go' Salmon.
I ordered extra bags of the Summit Chicken while the supply was there. I did so so that I can share, if anyone wants to get it from me. There was still 100 bags in inventory at the warehouse, but I suppose that won't go far for this part of Ontario. this supplier supplies all the Global stores, etc.

This has been a good discussion. Sorry to see the summit formula being discontinued. I couldnt find any supply at all in Newfoundland. I have asked the staff at places that sell the two other petcurian labels if they can order the summit but they always say what ever you see on the shelf is all we can get...
But at least I have a supply of the Go Chicken as recommended and will have to use the summit that we get with enzo to slowly transition into the go. It sucks but thats all I can do unless I get a supply from Monica.
