It's getting really close now....lol. No more sleeping in, no more restful nights....just kidding (??) or not. Oh well, no doubt you are getting really excited at this stage. Preparing the neighbours for the change that will be coming for them ( big scary Doberman in the neighbours yard ).. lol. If you can pre-order your ear taping supplies from Monica, that would be another suggestion as they can be hard to find. I forgot that Cajun is a "blanker sucker"...lol. Perhaps when you leave the puppy in the crate unsupervised you shouldn't leave blankets with them also as they may rip and chew and swallow the blanket bits. It's a learning curve now with your new puppy, and each litter is so different from the next.. but keeping in touch with your dogs littermates is, and can be very rewarding as no doubt they will be going thru the same issues that you are going thru with your puppy, and it's nice to know that you aren't alone thru the process. So again, that's where this forum is important....plus us with older dogs absolutely enjoy reading about the growth process and sharing those experiences with you.

I was just thinking yesterday that it's only about 3 more weeks, then I had to check the calender because it seemed too soon. The time has really flown by.

I'm just sitting here looking at them and I realize that I've got this smile from ear to ear. Awwww I am so 'jealous' of you guys and your little babies. It takes me back to when our girl was a little wee thing playing with her sister Asha in the airport. Paul, you are very lucky to have Asha to help you teach your little one "the way"....hahaha good luck with that! (kidding)
I can't wait until you and Monica pick your puppies--this goes out to all of the new owners.

Well yesterday we got to visit Monica at Dobereich HQ and visit with her, other owners, and most importantly the PUPPIES. OMG...to each of the new adoptive parents, congratulations on this litter. They are all gorgeous puppies...and they are so curious. They were so busy running here, running there, climbing over Joanne, Julian, Andreina...in the tunnel and back out of it, over it, in the bucket and out of the bucket. Many were trying to chase the mop and hang from it as spills were quickly mopped up. What a good-looking group of puppies. Kerrie had a little male come over to her and he choose her ( it was like the night we first met Dante and he "chose" her )...I can tell you that she will be keeping an eye on that little guy to see where he goes. But what a great afternoon/evening we had. Most of us got home around midnight last night....and even Joanne who arrived with 2 dogs left with 3 dogs??? Hmmmmmm. She has Monica's little puppy Rio with her, and Rio is her newest import from Sweden. Kerrie and Monica did puppy stacking pictures....so Monica has her work cut out for herself now as she attempts to choose her pick puppy. Good luck is all that I can say as they are "picks" in my mind.
No doubt the time can't go fast enough right now....and I can say I get it.

We find out tonight which pup we get, you best believe 2.5 weeks cant come fast enough!! They are beautiful, each with their own precious look. The timing is perfect for the upcoming nice weather and I think the kids MIGHT be getting as excited as Mom and Dad lol, but only a little Hubby and I are over the moon, and unlike the kids, we know theres more to the pictures then just seeing a puppy. Its not real to them until we are in the CUV and on our way to get him!

Just found out that my girl is going to have one of her brothers keeping her company on the flight to Calgary. Great news that she won't have to be alone for the 4 hour flight. I was worried about the stress that might cause her.

Terrific photos. You are so right - they are all amazing.
There's nothing like some "puppy power" to put a smile on your face.
