Thanks to everyone for coming out today... along with a short video I shot after the group shot on the hill... I have almost 300 shots to go through and edit. As I'm short on sleep this weekend, rushed home and had to take off to hockey, and just got home now... I have downloaded the photos I took... but my eyes are too foggy to do edits etc... so it may have to wait until tomorrow for me to start doing all of them.
Had a great time meeting people and putting faces to names, the weather was perfect for September... let alone October 30th, and the dogs were all amazing.
I have to say that I'm especially proud of my boy... biggest group walk ever for him, and knowing how he gets around other dogs, for him to be in the midst of 12 other Dobermans to have pictures taken without freaking out... well if you saw him a year ago you would know this is no small feat.
I will tell you that I do have some shots from today that I am quite happy about, and I'm my toughest critic when it comes to my work... stay tuned and I'll update you on what's happening with the photos, and how you can get them etc....
Thanks again for a great day everyone, and to the organizers for putting it together.

A special "THANK YOU" to the organizers, to Ian for taking so many pictures, Eric for his generosity, Joanne's Mom for the bandanas, and to Monica for taking the time to make the day complete. Chris came with homemade, delicious muffins....and all the dogs once again made the breed PROUD!

Great to meet new friends and see familiar faces today.
Many thanks, Gary, for organizing the excursion. Rattlesnake Point was an awesome choice. I said to Christine that I've heard about this site for decades, but this is the first time I've been there. It won't be the last. Loved it.
Joanne, sorry you couldn't join us . . . but thanks for the kerchief (and thank your mum, too, please). Until now, Jack has gotten to wear a kerchief only once a year -- a red-and-white maple leaf scarf on Canada Day (Bill in curmudgeon mode: "Bah! Harrrumph. I won't be caught dead with a dog wearing a kerchief). But I think he'll now relent now and add DOG outings to the short list of occasions when Jack can wear a kerchief. So . . . progress.
And Ian, I know what it's like to be faced with 300+ pix. LOL. I'm sure we're all looking forward to seeing them, but take your time. Magnum did superbly today, especially when he got loose and was so focused on you that he didn't even notice Jack the Brat. You've done a great job with him!
