Monroe is so cute! Bosco hates the cold as well, but this morning it was pretty mild and I had to shovel the driveway, so I brought him out and he ran around after my samoyed for about 30 minutes. I'm going to go buy him a coat this week though. House training is going well, only the occasional pee accident, it's easy to check him when he has to poop because he literally spins in a circle probably 30 times first so I have lots of time to grab him and put him out, lol. His ears are still fairly raw in spots , I am hoping I can start posting by friday as his tips are getting a significant curl in them despite me massaging and stretching them. Here he is with my almost 5 year old daughter. He LOVES snuggling with her. Attachments:

So today was Monroe's first day alone at home in the crate and I was extremely worried. He cried as I was leaving but by the time I got him he was quietly laying in his crate. He had a pee accident but waited for me to bring him out to poo.
The potty training is quite difficult especially with the peeing cause he just has to go every 20 seconds lol. For the poo, he has only done it indoors once in the last 2 days and at least it was on his pee pee pad.
It's still snowing over here and he LOVES to play in it. It's soo cute cause it's as though he is trying to fight the snow lol

Hi everyone Hope all of the puppies are doing well. I just want to let you know of our experience using a pee pad for Kazi. Our main floor was under construction when we brought our little princess home, so we were living in the recreation room for approx. 4 months. The entire floor was finished in laminate, we had our tv area, sitting area, and we set up a private area for Kazi and enclosed it with an x-pen. This way the 2 dogs could have their own individual space. We had Kazi's crate, some floor space and an area set up with pee pads for her. These worked well for her, BUT when it came time to move upstairs and redeem our home, it took us months to "re-train" Kazi. It felt like everytime she stepped from floor to 1) carpet 2)area rug 3) mat she peed. We would get her to the door to go outside to do her business, and she would pee on the rug at the door. It took months to re-train her to not pee on any surface in the house. She even peed while visiting other homes...as soon as she went from a solid floor surface to a raised surface, she peed. So, I just want to let you know what we experienced using pee pads as we wouldn't want anyone else to experience this also. We truly wished we had never used them, and will never use them again.

I also want to suggest a bondable dog walker to come into your home while you're at work to help with relieving your puppies. It is a great resource to use for those can bring this into their daily schedule.

Well Devi did quite well in her crate her first night! She only cried when we first put her in. And when she needed to pee! So proud of her.
But on another note lol. We put her crate in the living room for the day thinking she might like her little place to sleep with the door open. Umm nope! No way! So we pulled her little bed out of it and laid it in front to get her used to her bed first.
So she slept on the bed all day today. But when we tried to put the bed back in the crate the little stinker pulls her bed out in front again and then goes to sleep!! Lol little smarty pants already!!

Anyone else start taping? We are going to attempt today Hi Nancy, waiting to see what Monica says. Mira had a bit of an inflammation so I send pics of her ears today to see if I can start posting. How is house training going? Mira is not doing as well in that respect as I would like lol.. I'll take her out , sit outside and 3 minutes after I come back in, she pees or poops lol.

Good to hear that Devi is adapting well to your home. Ganon is great with his crate, but barks when he sees the Pomeranian walking around while he's crated. I can't trust them together yet so I have to let them play separately. He's also verrryyy bitey, lol. Not with me, but with our rugs and furniture. He keeps us on our toes, though.

Sending pics to Monica today, too. I think his ears are okay. I'll attach a pic.. House training is okay but he doesn't know how to tell is when he's ready to go out. Sometimes he just pees right when I open his crate door even if he's only been in for an I hour. So I've been trying to pick him up. He's getting heavy, though, and with my back injury from the accident, it's getting a bit difficult. Attachments:

Yes Devi bites everything! So we bought no chew spray because she was even trying to chew the rocks on the fireplace lol. Seemed to work pretty good. She's getting really good with our 1yr/old daughter still football tackles her but its getting less n less everyday. I just correct her and she listens pretty good. You can tell she loves everyone already! As for the ears she still has a few scabs where the ear is thicker. So I'm going to keep up on the polysporin and should be posting by Sunday or Monday

Ganon's ears look great! Bosco still had a little raw spot at the bottom of each ear but the tape or post do not touch it so I think it will be fine. He hates them though and keeps shaking his head. My husband is away so I had to do it on my own, it was a pin but I waited until he was sleeping. House training is going pretty well, he actually ran t the patio door and jumped on it and whined to go pee last night. He still has the occasional pee accident when he is excited but I think he is doing awesome so far.

Got Mira's ears taped. She wasn't/isn't happy and it's not a pretty job but at least she has the leopard print to make it a bit more fashionable lol Attachments:
