I am lucky to be getting Mira tomorrow! Its going to be a great day that I am so looking forward to. I'll post pics here. I feel you Steffie. I should be around the area by 1PM to pick up our new monster. Our daughter has been wanting to meet him for the longest time now, so I think I'll let her tag along this time to see the new family member! We now have his medium crate set up, as a family member bought it, but never used it for her Coton De Tulear. We bought a larger crate through Monica, along with pretty much any packages she threw at us haha. We do have a few toys and we tried to make the crate as comfy as possible (not sure how long this will last though!) Lastly, I broke down all the rules and boundaries with the children. I think they get the gist of it. Hopefully I wont have to step in too much. Still, my biggest fear is the ear taping. If there is time tomorrow, I may ask Monica to give me a quick run through on how it's done. I'll probably end up recording it to use as guidelines when I'm on my own. PS - I cant see any of your pictures on instagram!

Rory this is Barbara. When Kazi's sister was shipped to Calgary (Asha), Lisa flew WestJet to Pearson Airport where she met Monica---little playdate with Kazi as the sisters said goodbye---and then Lisa returned to Calgary with Asha in a carrier under the seat in front of her....just a little thought.....she did this all in 1 day..... Either way, no doubt your little one will be safe...

In 48-hours our little baby, Monroe will be home. I've set up absolutely everything including his crate, got him some toys, got him the puppy Nylobone that Monica suggested and got all the supplied for the ear taping.
I'm more excited now then ever! Don't know how I'm gonna sleep the next two nights!!!
I can't wait to see pictures of everyone's puppies as they grow older.

Barbara yes I tried to look into flying to pick her up but either to expensive or wrong times that would work with when I got home from North Dakota. I even tried to use my air miles but that was even worse for times. Flights had like 10hr layovers between flights. I'm quite disappointed about it but with Chistmas time it's just to expensive right now. I thought mabe seat sale too but who's to say I could get one or one cheap. So this is my dilemma lol so frustrating!!

What a great picture of Mira and Rudy. She looks plum tuckered out but Rudy seems protective of her already. They will make a great pair as she gets older.

Great pictures,Stephanie! Also, nice meeting you yesterday! Ganon is adjusting very well. The whole family already adores him. He's playing well with Nugget (the Pomeranian) and vice versa. He is sleeping in his crate at the moment and only cried for about half an hour total throughout the night. Ganon has had about 2 accidents on his first day, but since those two he's been consistently going outside. He really likes to cuddle up on everyone's lap, and shows the most affection to my wife and sister in law, although I think he missed his siblings because he was crying at his reflection and even smacked his face into the mirror a couple of times. Pictures will come soon, but I had some questions. What is the solution used to clean the wounds of his freshly cut ears? I took the inital bandages off. Monica mentioned non-sterile gauze wipes are fine, polyslorin, and... I keep forgetting the solution that is needed! Any help would be much appreciated. For those who haven't yet picked up their puppy, the wait is totally worth it. I am so happy that we chose Monica as our breeder and received such a well-mannered, handsome looking doberman.

I enjoyed meeting you and your lovely family as well. I hope your daughter is feeling better . I have had a few more accidents but mostly because I think she is sniffing our other pets odours and then she pees. I found females to take a bit longer anyway. Monica had said just to use a gentle cleaner like phisoderm or septo type cleaner (shoppers drug mart) but you could double check with her. You just want to keep the ear clean and work on minimizing the scabs. I did see the pics of Ganon on Instagram He is adorable and we are close enough to get them together to socialize. Steph

It's been worth the wait I think the W litter of 2013 will keep in touch like the previous litters. We are all pretty close except for one pup to NY and one to Montreal. Steph

Aslo I wanted to meet Monica, Barb and Kerrie Where are you in Calgary? We are in SW. Maybe we should meet for a doggy playdate when your puppy gets all shots? Asha is a half sister to your girl with Rogun and Juno in her pedigree
