What a couple of lucky dogs! Kazi has had a very busy week herself helping Bill with the new decks. Yesterday and today, Ray was also there to help Bill, so she has been very busy with both of the men. Throwing the ball, supervising, helping with their work doing whatever they needed her to do.m What more can a girl want?
Well, tonight after a hard day of work with her work-mates, and a play session with Dante and myself, she was knocking on the back door to come inside and sleep....and she's been asleep for the past 1 1/2 hours. I don't have the strength to tell her that they will be back Monday for what we hope is their last day. Sleep well baby-girl.....

Lisa....that's awesome that you want to try Asha in the show ring again. She is a beautiful girl and should do well. And of course it's something different for you both to share.
It's a beautiful day this morning....the sun is shining already and the air is calm and comfortable. Both dogs have been outside already, but Kazi is still outside. Having the deck back has been nice since they really did miss is, and we've doubled it in size with a different level so it's a different angle to her to watch her world on. Last night they were out for their final business before bed, and I looked out after a few minutes to see where they were, and they both lying on the deck.

Kazi will love to watch the world from the upper deck level. That's what her sister does all the time. My dogs love the deck... we hired people to do the grass over-seeding today. They will use fertilizers. They claim it's dog friendly but I don't believe it's good for dogs anyways. SO... there is not a chance they will play in the grassy area for a while.

Happy dance!!! No over-seeding (too late) and we will use natural fertilizer. My dogs are winners! They convinced my husband chemicals are not good for their coats LOL

That's great news! The weather was very wet today, so hopefully tomorrow the deck building experience will be completed. My nephew came by the house this past Saturday night before heading out for the night, and he couldn't tell the difference between Dante and Kazi .... they were playing in the yard, and he was looking out the window. Too funny....other than the "obvious", they are very similar.
We put Kazi's perlabed outside yesterday for her lay in while on the deck ( goodness she should lay on bare wood ) and she was outside until after 9pm last night before she wanted to come inside. She's been enjoying her decks, and even Dante is getting into the idea of it too.

Everything is complete.....and when I got home tonight the dogs and I headed outside for our daily game of "ball". We had a blast again ....Dante is amazing with the ball. He catches is in mid-air, chases it so that when it lands he catches it after 1 bounce and then brings it back to me, usually dropping it at my feet or close by. Then there's Kazi! After she tosses her head up and down 3 or 4 times, she finally releases the ball by throwing at me, then stands over it approx. 2 feet away from my feet and the ball ensuring a kick won't go far....and all the time her tail is going "wild".....Her eyes never leaving the ball or my feet., she's eager to play.

. . . Dante is amazing with the ball. He catches is in mid-air, chases it so that when it lands he catches it after 1 bounce and then brings it back to me, usually dropping it at my feet or close by . . . This is exactly what Jack does. He seems to regard catching the ball in mid-air as a personal challenge, and he runs like the wind so he can do it. He also chomps down on the ball really hard, but he sometimes misses. When that happens, we can hear his teeth clack -- and we hope that his tongue wasn't in the way. So far, so good.

Due to accident with a biker we are not taking Asha to the show ring She made her choice. Uh, oh, Lisa. Sounds as if there must be a story here. Hope Asha wasn't hurt and is just in the doghouse for a while.

Lucky she was not hurt... and a biker got only few scratches. Her obsession with chasing is an expensive "hobby".

So sad to hear that about Asha, but I don't think Kazi would be any different.

So Kerrie headed up to the The Bend today for the weekend with Kazi...yup, she left Dante at home with me....YIKES! lol. So we are switching up the dogs for the night....I am bonding with Dante, and she is bonding with Kazi. Tomorrow afternoon we will head up to meet with them for the rest of the weekend. ( no doubt Dante can't wait to see Kerrie ). Kazi didn't want to get into Kerrie's truck to leave, and Dante looked wistfully out the window at Kerrie as she left. Pathetic eh?

Saturday morning, and Mr. Man is moping around the house looking for Kerrie. He is a very quiet dog, that's for sure. I am sure of one thing though....when he sees her later today, his whole world will be "perfect" once again. He will be with the loves of his life: Kerrie and Kazi....lol

It's Saturday night, and I'm assuming that all is once again right in Dante's and Kazi's world (not to mention Barb's and Kerrie's). You must let us know how the reunion went.
