Hi Lisa, and everyone else from the B (litter Juno was born from), J, N, and R litters. I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to post this before you asked. Yes, I had Juno spayed a couple weeks ago, those ugly nipples have been removed, and she went home with her new family a week ago. Juno's new owners are not strangers to Dobereich Dobermanns. They just lost their D-litter girl, Isadora (from Isis's first litter out of Gosty 2002) and was reserved to get a puppy from Cynder x Rogun. I won't get into all the long details, but the short end of the story is that I found this family perfect for Juno and believed that she would be just as perfect for them. I wasn't wrong! I know some people will be shocked that I've placed Juno, and I apologize to the people who perhaps hoped to have the chance to adopt Juno one day if I ever decided to place her. But in my heart I feel this union was meant to be. Stephanie has joined the forum and will likely start posting updates when she's able. But for now I can tell you that Juno is proving to be every bit the dog I knew she would be. I told this family that Juno would be like NAN (the dog on Peter pan if anyone doesn't know), and they said it describes her to a T! Juno has already bonded with their newborn baby Sebastian. She watches whenever anyone holds him, goes to his crib, heels beside the stroller during their walks and sticks her head in to check on the baby from time to time. Here's a pic of Juno sporting her T (post spay protection) with Martin and Steph, her new pack. Attachments:

I am sure Martin and Stephanie have fallen in love with Juno by now, but congratulations to you all! Wishing you guys lots of fun and happy times with her... Please post updates and come around the forum! Every time I saw Juno at Monica's, she would give kisses with her "sandpaper" nose and wag her little nub a million miles a minute. She is sooooo adorable. Hope to see you soon June-bug!!! xox

Ohhhhh sweet June-Bug!!! I LOVE her bionic stubby tail! I am so happy for her and her new family, however, I know that it is bittersweet for everyone who visits Monica & the furry crew that we won't get to see one of our favorite girls! Martin and Stephanie... CONGRATULATIONS! You have no doubt fallen totally in love with miss Juno, as we all have. Monica has given her (needless to say all her dogs) nothing but love, and it shows in Junos playful personality and charm. You must promise to post pictures and updates!!! If you are on facebook, the Dobereich group would be VERY happy to see them too!

Hello all and thank you for the congratulations and well wishes. I have been meaning to post, but am having difficulty. As Monica says it is a long story on how we became Juno's adoptive parents. The sudden death of our beloved Isi was the impetus, but many more circumstances were also at play. We are thrilled to have her now and look forward to a time in the future when we might be able to get a puppy again. Juno's bionic tail still wags, her sandpaper nose still scratches as she kisses and shes as gentle as ever. She does miss her dobe playmates and puppies, her 13 year old golden retriever sister is just not fun to play with. Juno will knock her over repeatedly until Sophie decides to play possum and not get up anymore. She loves her dobe sister though and has made great rebounds from the funk she was in when her other dobe sister Isi died. Juno has adapted to a lifestyle vastly different from the one she knew. She has blended into the family pack as if she was always meant to be there. We have nothing but overwhelming gratitude to Monica for her insight and knowledge and knowing what we needed during such a turbulent time for us. We look forward to again being able to raise a dobe puppy, until then we are overjoyed and in love with our newfound "older" puppy Juno. Martin & Stephanie Attachments:

Welcome to the board and come on over to the N-litter thread, we are all pretty proud of our Juno babies!!

Thank you for keeping us informed of Juno's new life. We had the pleasure of knowing her really well for the past couple of years. Well I can certainly tell you that her little N-litter daughter Kazi also has her bionic tail, and definately had her sandpaper nose. Both Kerrie and I fell in love with Juno's sweet nature, yet at the same time her mischievious ways...lol.
When we heard of the pairing of Juno and Rogun, we both thought what a lovely, large litter they would create. And they didn't let us down.
I second what Mike said......come over and check the N-litter thread. No doubt you may see some similarities with Juno's "ways" and her puppies.
Anyways, thanks from us for your update. Give Juno hugs and kisses from all of us.....xoxo
